2008 will mark the sixth anniversary of the successful collaboration between Outset, Frieze Art Fair and Tate. This unique partnership, based on the generosity of Outset, a group of London collectors, enables Tate to buy important work by emerging artists at the fair for the national collection. With a fund of more than £500,000, works by more than 35 significant international artists have been collected since 2003, including Pawel Althamer, Trisha Donnelly, Thomas Hirschhorn, Zoe Leonard, Roman Ondak, Simon Starling and Christopher Williams.
