At the close of the sixth edition of Frieze Art Fair on 19 October, participating galleries reported that sales across the board had exceeded expectations.
Against a backdrop of some of the most turbulent financial markets in decades, Frieze Art Fair was pleased with reports from the 150 participating galleries of sold out stands and significant individual sales.
Attendance at the leading contemporary art fair was strong with ticket sales equalling those of 2007.
